case done! i did *not* expect that last minute killer swerve during the trial. wish there were a little more evidence on which to nail sithe; she seemed like she could have merited some more time spent on her for being the case's "final boss." another piece of more decisive evidence, a bit more breakdown/closure? because of that, i probably wouldn't quite call this the series's best non-epic case, but man, it's a really good one. also a monster one in terms of length - i have to imagine it exceeds 6-3?

it's a little surprising how much they've now revealed for the coming cases. like, this professor case is the hound of the baskervilles case, and the reason for the secrecy behind it is now clear. but how are we supposed to proceed from here? what is unresolved about that case now? the dog itself isn't that interesting to me in concept, but the murder method and the significance placed on its collar certainly mean that we'll be spending time investigating our canine friend
