^ I have a similar understanding and i don't think either side looks particularly good from it. Admittedly, I have no idea what's involved in a police investigation into phishing/online harassment and can't really blame them too much if they were listening to police advice but not telling their applicants that there was a scam with aims to harass and doxx seems incredibly negligent. Nyanners would know better than pretty much anyone else what to do in the situation i suppose, but i just can't see the logic in it.

Nux seems to have ignored that advice despite his friends asking him not to, thrown them under the bus and then lied about having approval to do so.

I was expecting it to come out that one of his mates at vshojo like Melody told him to publish the video while the others didn't so he was kinda right that he had approval and was getting asked not to publish it at the same time. Melody and Mouse coming out and criticizing him makes a pretty damning look tho, he's always been a polarizing figure but they always spoke well of him even when Vei, Nyanners, Silvervale didn't.
