I don't blame you if you're skeptical, but I'm convinced you can move past the trauma you've endured and experience a sense of happiness that you probably haven't felt since before you were abused and forced to develop coping mechanisms. Your younger self obviously deserved better and once you're able to truly weep for that child, I think you'd be amazed by the amount of doors that would open in your life.
