Well so much for MNF entertaining me.

The dragon's not a therion, so we turn back until Eizen and Eleanor each do something stupid. Eizen wants to take this huge thing on, and then Eleanor yells at him that it's a dumb idea... promptly alerting the dragon to our presence. OOPS! Zaveid interrupts the fight, only to take a fist from Eizen... and he's protecting her with his life. She knocks him away and flies off. Apparently, this is... someone they both know? It was a malak who became a dragon, tainted by malevolence. Phi bemoans potentially becoming a dragon... or Eizen becoming one as well. The Abbey's controlling their malaks by stripping them of consciousness, which is interesting. Velvet doesn't give a shit about any of this and tells Eizen that if he drags us into another dragon fight like this, he's gonna become one himself.

The rest of my playtime is - you guessed it - bouncing back to Stonebury to buy a little more Quartz stuff and then managing my equipment more. Seriously, did they not recognize just how nightmarish this is? You are overloaded with equipment and can't even navigate the menu because of how much crap is in there, and you need to make sure you've learned the skills before getting rid of old stuff. And you may want to keep something weaker because of its random bonus skills and/or because you can make it a +6 to get more souls. It's like they didn't give any thought to any logical outcome. Because...
1. Someone does nothing and just equips any new toys they get. They never learn skills and have so much crap that they can't manage any of it from an early point in the game.
2, They spend hours like me just trying to make sure everything's okay, sometimes even resetting because they ran out of Odorless Fluids (which are so tough to get).

Like which of these did they WANT me to do? Did they WANT me to just let things sit in there when they tell me I should be upgrading? Like what?
