Disney has now said they are taking a different approach with Snow White and the 7 COMPANIONS after actor Peter Dinklage slammed the studio for remaking the "backward" film that reinforces stereotypes!! The company said they consulted with the members of the dwarfism community throughout the early stages of production and is still years away from release that stars Rachel Zegler as Snow White and Gal Gadot as the evil queen. Peter told Marc Maron on WTF podcast "Literally no offense to anyone, but iw as taken taken back when they were proud to cast a latina actress as snow white but they're still telling the story of snow white and the seven dwarfs. Take a step back and look at what you're doing there. It makes no sense to me. You're progressive in one way and you're still making that f***ing backward story about seven dwarfs living in a cave together? what the f*** are you doing man? Hav i done nothing ot advance the cause from my soap box? I guess i'm not loud enough" Disney will still continue to have cultural consultants to ensure that there is no offense to any groups of people They look forward to sharing more information when it heads into production. It was expected to shoot in Vancouver before they decided to shoot in Germany and changed their minds again and will now shoot in the United Kingdom..
