Background:

- Was seeing a girl I work with for a few months.
- We barely see each other through the holidays.
- We message on NYE back and forth. She asks what I'm doing and I respond. --- No reply and the messages weren't ever marked as read.
- Over the next few days I send three followups being like "?" "Hey?" And "Are we good?", same deal.
- I begin to think she's pissed I didn't invite her to NYE.
- A few days later at work I asked her what was up and mention NYE. She seemed genuinely surprised I thought we weren't good and told me I was "overthinking" and that she wasn't checking messages and was "busy" with life.
- I made some comment about how if she wanted a break from talking or w.e. she could've just said so and she kinda chuckled and said something like "that's too uncomplicated for me"

Whenever we happen to work together things are civil and friendly. Almost like nothing ever happened, albeit she's not as physical/handsy as she was prior, obviously.

We still haven't spoken outside of work since. I made no effort to reach out and neither has she.

Anyway, I'm seeing other people rn but when she's around even though it's nice we're still friendly I feel like I'm still hurt/sore over what went down. Gonna try to shift stuff around so we're not overlapping as much.
