Says that his initial result was negative when he went to get tested on Friday and his PCR didn't come back until monday with a positive. His wife is currently in the hospital with Covid right now. CDC guidelines are 5 days from when symptoms start. HR is probably told to follow those guidelines so as long as that coworker isn't showing major symptoms he can come back. Be mad at your shitty coworker for lying about the whole thing to come back sooner.
