A very good example of FF12's plot, characters and dialogue being just so head scratchingly bad. Yes Zodiac Age fixed a lot of the slow sections and the structure of the gameplay for the better but the plot is just irredeemable hot garbage that can never be fixed. So unless Square Enix decide to nuke the original game completely like how ARR did to OG FFXIV and remake FF12 from scratch, the game will remain a blight on the series and the beginning of the downward spiral for the mainline entries. We can only trust in YoshiP to save us with XVI. Speaking of which since I just got to it, I'm legitimately surprised that Valefor has straight up no representation yet in XIV.
