Same for me. Although, it is mostly a result of me playing it for brief stretches of time over 8 years. Every time I start getting good, I get bored and play something else for most of the year then come back as pretty much a total noob again with the cycle repeating.

Although, now a days with the game dying on NA, I find the game more frustrating than fun. Even the silvers are pretty tough due to rank compression. I used to be a nova, but steadily decreased to lower and lower tiers of silver each time I choose to come back to the game. Matches feel worse too. I will lose badly for maybe 5 games in a row, then get a conciliatory blow out game where I barely have to play to win. It just doesn't feel like you get the even matches anymore and I have no friends that play this game, so I am probably done with the game at this point.
