controls are fine. i can see it bother some people but no issues with my hands at least, and the stand does help a lot if you have trouble. definitely need to make it more sensitive though - up the rotate camera speed by 1, the reticle by 1.5 to 2, done. half your issues with control probably come from just not having it calibrated to what you want.
game is easily the best on the 3ds.
