The reason people with shitty private insurance are scared of Medicare for all is because they are repeatedly told the only alternative is year long waits, rationed medicine, and death panels. People who acknowledge and agree with a middle ground solution reinforce that belief, because if Medicare for All is really better, why would you have to reassure me my current insurance wont be affected? --- Phantom Dust.
