Kakyoin is probably the most competent person on the team 99% of the time. So much that they had to side line him for quite a few episodes. Without him THE WORLD! would have handed Jotaro his ass on a silver platter. Part 3 also turned Joseph into an idiot. He doesn't feel like the same character at all, and the way he's constantly yelling, Oh my God/Oh No feels so forced (Jotaro does that with "good grief" in part 4, but his VA doesn't sound like he's being held at gun point).
