Yeah, as if the cops would give custody of a kid to a complete stranger! For all we know, Jackson could be a predator. Plus, you don't teach kids not to steal by paying for the stuff they steal. What an asshole. The "it's just a kid" mentality is the reason why so many people grow up to be entitled brats and criminals. You have to teach kids about responsibility and accountability.
