I once started a playthrough of Tactics Ogre on the GBA, and I put it down one day and told myself I would come back and finish it when I had time.

18 years later and I have never touched it again. I still think about "oh yeah I should play that after I finish x"

I usually tell myself Im just going to play this other game for a little while, and then come back But then I end up playing the other game for much more than a little while

Happens a lot. For a specific and extreme example, didn't play Tales of Berseria for a couple years and when I picked it back up I couldn't remember or recognize any party member except Velvet. Deleted the save and started over.

I usually dont delete the save file But just start another For one game, I have so many save files. And the dates can be years apart because I end up putting it down for years before coming back Haha.
