Robazoid 06/30/22 6:13:28 AM #31:	Today I rewatched Angel Beats. It still managed to get to me. Some character backstories are way too over-the-top (Yuri's especially) but for the most part I think this anime manages a perfect balance between comedy and drama. My favorite running gag is the sappy song that plays for a few seconds when characters get seriously injured. It's a great parody of epic sacrifices because here they're immortal so they're fine. I like all the characters, and of course the ending really delivers.
