Unfortunately, some people are attempting to profit off the man's death, buying up cards that are tributes to Takahashi's life, like a signed copy of a card based off his dog. Not sure if the same thing is happening in Japan, doubt it's to this scale because they don't like to fuck with the dead, but there's another famous Takahashi centric card, Magi Magi Magician, which never released in the West because Takahashi was tired of his art being censored (I might not have all the facts right here, but I saw it mentioned).

But seriously, RIP him, and he's a legend and always will be
