Maybe I'm just unlucky, or maybe just bad. But exploring Ancient Cities is extremely slow. I barely got anywhere through this city below my spawn, because there's just sensors and shriekers everywhere. there was on spot where there were so many sensors and shriekers I just couldn't locate that every time I thought I had one surrounded and broke it, another would activate and spawn a warden and I'd have to run away. There's still more shriekers in that spot I can't find.

Also I didn't even notice cus I barely explored my spawn cus it was on the border of a jungle and badlands and I didn't know how to get food there. But there's an opening from the surface that goes all the way down into the deep dark biome. You can't see the city from the surface, but you can see the deep dark it's located in. it's cool.
