Oh, also, the lore of the ancient cities. So first of all, everyone is like "oh there's wooden towers sometimes! obviously the Illagers made the ancient cities! I am very smart!" Except, no. The Illagers couldn't have built the ancient cities. The Illagers work with wood. Not stone. The Illagers probably did build the towers while exploring. But they didn't build the cities. The towers were clearly built on top of pre-existing structures. Also the giant "portal" in the center of the city. It's not a portal. It's a statue of a Warden. The mouth and "ears" are the same. It's a statue, not a portal. It might become a portal in a later update, who knows. But at the moment, it's clearly just a deptiction of a Warden. And there's shrines all over the place that also look like the Warden. And the music disc you build by finding the shards. It has sounds of marching and a Warden being summoned in. So what I think the ancient cities are, is a group of people were trying to escape the surface. Maybe they were scared of the Illagers, or the zombies, or something else. But they dug deep underground, found the Sculk and discovered that if you make too much noise, the Warden is summoned in and attacks the source of the noise. So they started worshipping the Wardens and built the cities with the Sculk. That way any intruders would be dealt with and the inhabitants would be safe. That's why the walls and walkways are made of wool. Because the inhabitants would know how to avoid summoning the Wardens. But where the inhabitants are now, I can't say. Maybe they escaped to the Nether and built the Strongholds.

Also even Mojang as said not to think of the Warden as an enemy, but as a force of nature.
