Not that I'm eager to defend Favre, but I doubt he had any idea where the money was coming from when he agreed to the speeches.

The government, meanwhile, not only chose to waste money on that shit, but to misappropriate federal aid money for it, while letting critical infrastructure fail. I cannot understate how fucking deplorable that is. Citizens should be rising up in armed rebellion, it's so disgusting.

EDIT: And I agree, asking for interest on it is just petty and seems without merit.
