Pretty likely it'll be the last time we have a 1 roman numeral topic. I don't imagine gamefaqs will be around in the 20+ years it'll take us to hit 500.

Got star ocean 6 today on PC. Initially I was having terrible performance which was pissing me off cause it looks like a ps3 game but I hadn't updated my drivers in a while and doing that solved my issue. Although the issue it didn't solve is that you cannot alt tab out of the game. For whatever reason, it is forced on top. And not that it affects me cause I use a controller but when using the mouse, it doesn't have a cursor. Square Enix feel like the last hold out when it comes to actually trying to make a PC port decent of the japanese companies. Capcom and bandai seem to finally have decent ports and the smaller studios like the ones that do legend of heroes and Ys make actually really good pc ports.

My only real complaint about the game so far is that enemies can crit causing them to randomly oneshot me sometimes (a boss was doing 200 damage with an attack but once it crit for 650 damage and my max health was only 500) and that the faces look bad. It's not even a graphical issue, it's a design choice issue. They all look kinda like weird dolls.

Voice acting is fine, combat is fun, the leveling and skills and equipment stuff is fun, the story is so far completely not engaging, but it's early.
