Forgot it was coming out since it started so late but saw the arknights anime first episode. Kind of meh. The setting doesn't make a lot of sense yet. Like, theres no way that disease would ever spread if what they've said is the truth. Additionally, the good guys merely knock out the enemies instead of killing them which to me really undermines the tone of this otherwise grim near post apocalypse war setting. Like, the tone tries to pass as something really similar to 86, but then no one kills anyone, they just fight to KO people. Feels lame. Production on the show seems fine although not especially impressive which in a way is sort of disappointing. I remember one of the mobile game adaptations having really high production value and it looked great.
