"Powerpuff Girls! You're not gonna believe this! The Gangreen Gang, Mojo Jojo, Fuzzy Lumpkins, and Him are fighting right here in my office!"

The Gangreen Gang were always some of my favorite villains from The Powerpuff Girls. They weren't very tough, they didn't have much in the way of superpowers, they were just a group of assholes who played pranks and messed with the girls and the citizens of Townsville, but their antics were always hilarious, and never moreso than when they managed to get their hands on the Powerpuff phone in this classic episode of the show. After tricking the Mayor out of his office, they call up the Powerpuff Girls, telling them various villains are causing trouble, and prompting the Powerpuff Girls to show up and beat the crap out of them. While it's always fun to see the girls show up in the nick of time to foil the villains' plans, it's actually even MORE fun to see them show up when these villains are just trying to enjoy a day off! The Gangreen Gang took trolling to an epic level in this one, and there wasn't a single moment that went by that I wasn't laughing my ass off at seeing the girls put a beatdown on "innocent" villains. By the end, when the villains finally figured out what was going on, the Gang got their just desserts, while the Powerpuff Girls just wanted to sleep, leaving the poor mayor trapped in his office with a bunch of brawling foes. The "fight" between the Gang and the villains (which was more like a one sided beatdown) was hilarious in its own right, with the bit where Lil Arturo was just flying through the air with a blank expression on his face proving particularly funny. The Powerpuff Girls truly was at its best when it was at its funniest, and it's never been funnier than when the Gangreen Gang made some hilarious prank calls.
