The extreme wings of both parties would lose power. President Biden's power would be enormously enhanced. Joe Manchin would be Senate Majority Leader and Liz Cheney would be Speaker of the House. Mitch McConnell would remain Senate Minority Leader but would also be given the new informal position of First Minister, or Prime Minister, to President Biden.
