Huh? Huh? Huh? Huh? I can do it... at will!" Another awesome episode from the amazing second half of Season 3 of Star vs. The Forces Of Evil (before it all went to shit), Deep Down sees Star enter the magical realm in an attempt to stop her dangerous sleep-portaling, and the things she sees when she gets there are almost beyond description. Add in some brilliant and hilarious Janna and Marco scenes, and you've got the recipe for an amazing episode of Star vs., not only one of the best episodes in terms of just imagery and character moments, but in terms of story development as well, with Star gaining full control over her Mewberty form, and learning quite a bit more about the magic realm. I just loved seeing all the bizarre things that Star witnessed in the realm, as she went down deeper and deeper to figure out the reason behind her sleep-portaling, and it was really sweet how Marco was able to pull her back, even using her wand (which assumed a new form in his hands), in another amazing scene. This episode was the setup for so much amazing stuff, which was unfortunately ruined by the direction the show took later on, but I can still appreciate it for what it was and what it is: one of the most mindblowing episodes of television I've ever seen. --- This signature won't change until Chrono Trigger gets a re-release on a modern Nintendo console. ...
