The Batman is not in the DCEU, probably. What's in or not in the DCEU is pretty messy so it's fair someone would think it is though.

For example, we also have:
* Green Lantern with Ryan Reynolds, which was going to kick off the DCEU but it was so bad they backtracked on that
* Two versions of Justice League, where the one that's probably not canon has a bunch more teasers for future movie plots and exposition/background for the characters than the one that's probably canon does
* The Suicide Squad vs Suicide Squad, where they're both maybe probably canon but The Suicide Squad is really effectively a soft reboot. And casual moviegoers are probably still confused about which one is which because of the shitty naming
* Joker with Joaquin Phoenix which is clearly not the same Joker as in Suicide Squad but released in the middle of the DCEU anyways
* Wonder Woman 1984's plot being such a horrifyingly messy shitshow that it's hard to imagine that it really takes place in the same universe as any other DCEU movies besides Wonder Woman 1
* A very large amount of content from BvS that was cut from the theatrical release but included in the later release. I guess this is the least egregious one here but still a little bit of a canon question
* The Batman with Robert Pattinson, as mentioned

Not to mention the actor problems like Amber Heard and Ezra Miller which probably results in some characters de-facto written out of the universe. All of it together really actually does make you appreciate how Marvel has been pretty impressively consistent for 25+ movies. Only a couple important recasts early on but overall the Marvel lows aren't as low as the DC lows that DC hit almost immediately starting out their universe. It's sad because growing up with the DCAU I actually wanted the DCEU to succeed

I have to defend Snyder a little bit here.

Snyder had a vision and WB didn't let him achieve it.

You know those stupid zombie-like enemies in suicide squad? They were meant to be parademons. The bad guy was going to be Steppenwolf, not that dancer chick. The plot was different, it was meant to set the stage for justice league.

There are many disjointed, weirdily isolated things in BvS and JL, such as, the bat-nightmare with the flash, ever wonder why? What about all of the cut joker footage? cut batman footage? cut cyborg footage? etc etc. There is a reason for this: these movies were supposed to be inter-related.

You see, mavel introduced captain america, thor and ironman. THEN they ventured into a movie with all of them together. Snyder was aiming for something similar, but they didn't let him. It's hard and stupid to try to introduce most JL members in a single movie.
