So it turned out I accidentally lied about the hint; I thought I had posted a write-up involving MORFIUS but I didn't actually do that. Whoops!

The non-campaigners following along with this topic heard some of the tale of MORFIUS in MI's ranking, but I don't know that you really got a full understanding of how absolutely hilarious MORFIUS was.

Just a quick recap, Bloodfruit, having taken up alchemy prior, used a tincture made with her own fae blood to find a tiny tamagotchi-like robot hidden in the couch cushions of a Tokyo apartment. MORFIUS takes on the vague appearance of Dream of the Endless, arguably the most famous of the seven near-immortal siblings that rule various aspects of humanity and the universe around them. That, combined with the name Morpheus (another name for Dream), the fact he gets fed sand (as in the magical sands of Dream), and Bloodfruit's entire lack of understanding of mundy technology led to her assuming that the bot was actually trapping the soul of Dream.

This led to a sense of manic desperation on Bloodfruit's part, as MORFIUS constantly begs to be fed and she cannot let down one of the beings she worships so thoroughly. Brennus matched her mania and then some, not because he believed it was a real being, but because he really likes tamagotchis. For a few straight sessions, the recurring catchphrase became:
MORFIUS: "Feed me sand!"
Brennus: "BLOODFRUIT, FEED HIM SAND!"

When I say I don't think anything has cracked me up more, I mean I legitimately was struggling to get out my lines. And Scarlet and MI both knew this, and at times would just throw in a "Feed me sand!/Feed him sand!" to fuck with me, and it always worked.

As time went on, MORFIUS began asking weird questions of Bloodfruit. Things like her mother's maiden name, her social security number, the city she grew up in... all questions that 1. were obvious phishing schemes and 2. were things Bloodfruit, having grown up in Faerie, wouldn't have any usable answers for. It kind of made them a perfect pair, as Bloodfruit would constantly feed useless information to the bot. Toyman revealed that the toy was, indeed, just a toy, and a malicious one at that, feeding the information of the user to some far off person or company whose identity we still don't know.

And yet... Bloodfruit wasn't about to accept that explanation. Bloodfruit might not understand the mundy world, but she's not dumb, and in the case of MORFIUS, she either can't or won't accept the idea that MORFIUS is nothing more than what he appears. Over time, she's come to embrace MORFIUS as not being the true embodiment of Dream, but still holds firm that, for whatever reason, only she is able to see MORFIUS as being more than just a corrupted plaything.

Hint for #24: This is a character that, at first appearance, absolutely doesn't come across as a JB character
