clap & walk
confronting myself
agniratha

space has a cool intro and some really cool parts mixed in. i like the "twinkly bits" that are peppered throughout the background of the piece. clap & walk meanwhile has an intro that i am not a fan of, but once the song starts rolling, it is a really fun sort of song, something to dance a jig to. also fond of the way it calms down before picking back up again.

confronting myself is just so fucking cool. great intro. great build up. and when the celeste leitmotif kicks in, it is so unbelievably hype. i've always been fond of how songs in this game tend to escalate and grow, appropriate given the game in question. the static and glitchiness in this one is also a nice touch. great example of a song that works perfectly both in and out of context. this is SUCH a mean matchup to shantae, because i enjoy this one too. songs that feel very menu waiting room lobby are my kind of thing. so pleasant and smooth!! this is going right into my relaxing playlist.

pole shift sounds great back to back with challenge accepted. from the waiting room into the battle. very fun and pleasant, loud, but not overwhelming. really great! i ought to listen to more border break. i know this xenoblade set was made partially in jest, but i honestly think it is a really good one agniratha is no exception, with the lonely piano trills and faint choir. such a hollow, goosebumps inducing track. pole shift is really great, but this makes me shiver no matter how many times i've listened to it (spoilers: way too many times probably haha).
