As for how I watched it..
I watched Wing and 08th MS Team when they were on Toonami, along with most of 0079. A few years later, I watched pieces of Seed when it was on, but didn't care for it.
Then, since mid September I've been watching the franchise in (approximately) production order.
I just need to finish Seed, and then watch Seed Destiny and I'll have watched everything.
Not counting the SD Gundam shows.
