| SeabassDebeste 01/10/23 6:41:15 AM #162: | looking at a google image search, axiom verge 2 seems better-looking than castlevania 1 and metroid 1. like at the very least there's "more" going on visually. i think it's fair to argue that it's not visually distinctive, but the textures in the art can be more pleasing to the people who are able to distinguish what's going on discussing that specific quality, and whether that's a trend in modern games, is also just way more productive than whether or not "objectively ugly/bad" exists --- yet all azuarc of all sorts are more or less capricious and unreliable - they live in the varying outer weather, and they inhale its fickleness ...
