A lot of the areas were very similar in their own regions. I fully expected a major city to pop up like Jerusalem in Assassins Creed. And while Mother Base was alright, until you get further into the story, its just a break point between missions. It would be nice to greet ur Intel comrades that was hiding in that major cities instead just capturing enemies outpost #125 for 69th times.
