Then we will get into this whole debate of 'what is hard work'. The type of argument that people will use to argue cashiers vs. CEOs.

I have worked for/with a professional sports team. They put in work, absolutely. But also practice 2-4 hours, 3,4 days a week in-season. Have an obscene amount of resources at their disposal to make keeping them at their top performance that the average Joe could ever dream of. When they leave the training grounds, they generally aren't going home to hit the weights though and put in more work. They are living their lives. Some gym bros never leave the gym.

But also, I'm not arguing against high salaries. I think the whole sports industry itself is fucked. From owners raking in money, TV deals, player salaries, etc. For the players, get what you can.
