A lot of individuals who can't handle that don't actually become professional athletes. But those who do who struggle with it are also given tons of resources to manage it. Not saying it's not difficult though.

But then again, we come into the argument I mention earlier of how do we define the level of what is hard and what is not and how does compensation come into play. Because I can tell you someone who goes grocery shopping, dealing with the mental stress of customers yelling in your face calling you a stupid piece of shit seems just as hard as someone tweeting about your fumble.
