The Sprit of Vengeance has turned his wrath against all magic users for some reason. Much of them are now in hiding in one of two magically protected bars, and those who are out and about just have to hope they don't catch his attention. If he shows up people die, straight up. He killed Blackbriar Thorn among others. He is also a spiteful and petty near godlike being, so don't trash talk him or say his name too much or else he will show up and kick your ass/murder you. Whenever he has shown up in the campaign things have gone really bad and it means it is time to run. I have no idea how the team will manage to defeat or convince Spectre to stop trying to wipe out magic, or even which of those would be easier. But hey if you can get him on your side your chances of winning go way up.
