Proto_Spark 02/01/23 11:53:08 AM #8:	I wouldn't say they're beneath the plot, because they're all used for the express purpose of getting over the plot. Everything is designed to enhance the plot. That's the main strength of TLOU. That the entirety of the game is so tightly designed around telling a specific story and because of that it tells the story really really well. But that's not to say the gameplay or setting or whatever don't matter. If this was basically a point and click puzzle/adventure game like, say, the Telltale games, TLOU wouldn't be remotely close to as good, even if the story could be just as good. <cite>Proto_Spark posted [p:971252941] in The Last o...
