Maybe it's just the specific Popeyes I've been to, but I don't really like their chicken at all (it was way too dry, for starters, and it didn't taste all that great). KFC is way better IMO.

That being said, I don't like KFC as much these days as I used to either - it kind of tastes too salty to me now. I think it's a product of my tastebud's changing as I get older, and preferring other chicken (like McDonalds' Chicken Selects when they had them, or Perdue Popcorn Chicken at home, or Wawa's chicken breaded chicken strips, or just making my own fried chicken at home).
