I used to know more of the background on why (I think there actually was a pivotal moment there or something) but I don't feel like doing the research on it again to refresh myself. But yes among other things they've been platforming anti-trans views, often uncontested, of late to my knowledge and it was an intentional decision from the top brass. Edit: Beaten.
