I feel like there's no good place to keep a master password and ultimately everyone has a shameful place they keep it.

It's either on a note on your desk, on a plain text file, you forgot it, it's so simple you have it memorized or you have it long memorized and could forget it.

If you have it on 2FA, you could lose your phone. If you have it on fingerprint, you could burn your fingers. Something could always go wrong. If you have it on a note, you could lose it or someone could steal it.

That said a combination of a long password and 2FA is enough to keep anyone's account safe. People with 2FA don't get hacked. Turn it on now or be ashamed.
