Yeah, but it isn't. So what's the use in imagining? We as the audience know she's not actually kidnapping him anyways, we know she's just clumsily trying to seduce him because it's a comedy about a man finally coming of age and a woman learning to understand people on a deeper level. He's misunderstanding it. That's what makes it a comedy. You know, sometimes comedy are a little controversial or edgy in order to be funny? You know that thing that comedy does? Because it's a fucking comedy and not a recommendation on how a woman should date a man?

So what's the point of recontextualizing the whole thing in a way to make it look as bad as possible? Just so you can be outraged about how "problematic" it is?
