If you're looking to finish the game imo don't be afraid to turn the difficulty down towards the end because (like Kingmaker) it becomes a bit of a slog by act 5 & 6. Just real unnecessary padding of random mook demons with legendary ACs and resistances. The great thing about the game is that you can tweak the difficulty really how you want too.
