Many, many factory jobs have been lost to the combination of automation and outsourcing. That's also true. I just get a bit of a weird reaction to "oh no all the factory jobs are gone" when it's provably not true. chelsea___wtf posted... this is the most overhyped productivity tool in the history of software engineering. it helps you write boilerplate quicker. It doesn't architect systems. So far, yeah. We don't know how far this will go, there's now a whole fuckton of money being poured into this by every major tech company. The software side of this is going to blow up hard. I've even seen silicon manufacturing companies produce specific chips for matrix multiplication, and thus AI. ... Copied to Clipboard! |
