I am way more likely to consult API docs or read source code than to actually go to SO anyways. The best use I've found for LLM tools so far in practice is asking it to comment code. It often produces a decent first draft. With actual code I usually think dealing with its hallucinations and the extra care I have to take reviewing it is more draining than writing it myself. Maybe marginally faster for simple tasks with no dependencies, but that's such a small fraction of the software I write (and it's a fun fraction!
