I don't get why you keep bringing up Tomb Raider in this context. It's a completely different apples/orange situation that isn't comparable to this at all.

Grubb's second statement is pretty obviously him trying to minimize his original claim while covering his ass. He includes the "I heard" because you can't just come out and say you were wrong lol. That's PR suicide.

Yeah its Jeff Grubb, a very established journalist whos had many, many accurate scoops and has real sources.

This is the exact opposite take I've seen of this person elsewhere.
