We just need to stop pretending that the same number of jobs in a field exist, and that the new ones don't have a substantially higher hurdle for new job seekers to get into than the old jobs did. But acknowledging this means acknowledging the need to pair advances in automation, A.I., and direct consumer interfaces with a UBI, and the bootstrappers are never going to acknowledge that need. --- "Now, was that civilized?
