It sounds like they just didn't want to spend the money. That's why they need to be made to pay out a large settlement for this. The only way you get a lot of employers not to ignore workplace hazards like this is to make it more costly to ignore them than it is to pay to have them fixed. --- "It is possible to commit no mistakes and still lose.
