I hate this trend of needing a phone to do basic things in society. The point of me getting out of the house is to get away from my damned phone.

I really detest needing one to see a menu. Like, wtf? You want me to stare at a tiny screen rather than read a nice large paper menu?

My folks have stopped going to a lot of restaurants cause they switched to that crap, and even though my mom owns a smartphone, there's zero way she will figure out how to work it, let alone want to read a menu on it. My dad outright refuses to have a smartphone, which is a bit funny to me since he's been a pc gamer since '87.

If they weren't a motherfucking pain in the ass to read and navigate. I've yet to see one that was quick, responsive, intuitive.

Especially bad is when they include Lunch menu pricing items near the top. "Oh you saw this thing you want? Fuck you, it isn't available at the price. Or it's the perfect serving size for your hunger level? Fuck you, should have come earlier chuckle fuckle"
