Lizzo uses her fame to try to spread good cheer and for people to feel good about themselves. It's clearly a mental thing, and the negative comments do not help. And because she is talented and has money, people think it's just okay to completely get on her and say the nastiest things. From my perspective I see someone who is trying to help people who feel similar and be a champion but of course society shuns anything that is not perfection. I am not even a fan of her music or her at all, but I can see that. For some reason if you have money you have no right to be a human being in society, when clearly her issue is not laziness but mental. Have compassion for fellow human beings instead of sitting on a throne of negativity to make yourself feel better

At the end of the day though, being overweight increases a person's negativity. It throws off all a person's chemicals out of balance. It isn't healthy. So yeah, I don't think people should harass her or insult her weight, but I do think they should gently encourage her to pursue a healthier weight rather than encourage her to be unhealthy, because that's a big part of what is making her unhappy.
