| Slayer_22 06/03/23 5:54:11 AM #1: | I'm gonna need a new TV and I was wondering if anyone here has cursory or more in-depth knowledge on TVs. My old TV, a Toshiba, broke. Just won't turn on anymore. I could take it for repairs, but I figured I'd treat myself with some money I got stored away for situations like this and get myself a new one. Two in particular caught my eye. One is a 43 inch Toshiba Fire TV. The other is a 43 inch TCL Roku. I don't really know the difference and was wondering if there was some sort of difference between them in terms of brand? My Toshiba worked great for 2 years before it started having weird, small issues. Before the current one. I've never had a TCL, but idk the quality. The price difference is considerable, the Toshiba is 169, the TCL is 229. Tosbiba is Fire TV, TCL is Roku. Toshiba will be here way later(about a week), TCL around the same time.
