(Mia is your final party member in the first game. She is part of the Mercury Clan that protects Mercury Lighthouse, a structure of significance located near her hometown of Imil. However, Alex, her cousin, breaks the code of the Mercury Clan, and brings intruders into the lighthouse. Isaacs party assists Mia in clearing obstacles, and she joins your team as thanks. Interestingly, you have the option to clear Kolima Forest and Tret Tree (including battling Tret) either before or after obtaining Mia.

She is also playable in The Lost Age, after the reunion. Aside from Alex being even more notable a character than he was in the previous game, Mia doesnt have much importance in the games plot.

Like many other characters from the GBA duology, not much is known about present day Mia in Dark Dawn. What is known is that she has a daughter, Nowell, and a son, Rief, with the latter being playable.

Fun Fact: When Golden Sun was first revealed to the public at Space World 2000 in August 2000, Mia had a different role. She appeared to live in Vale alongside Isaac and Garet, and Jenna and Felix were nowhere to be seen. Of course, this didnt stick for the final game.
