(Piers is your final party member in The Lost Age. He is the only playable character in that game to not have appeared in the first game in any capacity.

Piers hometown is Lemuria, an ancient civilization that has since fallen into ruin. The people of Lemuria are much older than they seem and age slowly, and Piers is no exception. Lemuria is incredibly difficult to reach. Using Piers ship, you go on a vast quest to find a way to get there, and eventually succeed. Kraden in particular is very excited to see it. The title of the game, The Lost Age, may refer to Lemuria.

Piers goes through a lot throughout the game, from being locked up in jail for a crime he didnt do when you first meet him, to finding out his mother passed while he was away from Lemuria.

Piers is generally a calm and rational character, unless hes asked about his age.
