That's it. I'm calling this one.

Game #1 Complete! Whitewater Wipeout
Final Thoughts: It was a game or at least almost a game. That much I'm willing to say for sure. I will say that I think it was a good idea to include this in the first season of week 1. It at least shows off the crank, which is important. The sort of precision it gives you in the controls here is impressive, and it feels a lot more satisfying to land a flip using the crank that it would've on a standard controller. Like, if this was a PS5 game, it would've been a 1/10 sort of experience. It was kinda fun pulling of a 3x 360, landing it perfectly, then going back up for a second one. But I didn't really have the desire to keep trying it.

Score chasing helps, some, but honestly I was struggling to force myself to keep playing this. Like I was like "hey I should play again!" and then I'd give it another run and go "oh yeah that's why I stopped". YMMV if you're huge on Game & Watch style score chasers, but to me this is a fun little demo of the crank and that's it. Something you play when you get your system then tuck away forever.

Should you play it? I mean, why not. If you get the Playdate it comes preloaded and it shows off the crank in a cool way. I wouldn't play it for long, but see how it works and then move on.

Final Score: 3/10

Game Rankings:
2) Whitewater Wipeout
1) Whatever I play next, most likely
